Intel Capital today announced it has notched 45 new investments (and 49 follow-on fundings), totaling $465 million, through the first eight months of this year. Fifteen Intel Capital portfolio companies have achieved exits so far this year as well. Intel Capital President Arvind Sodhani expects at least $150 million in additional investments through the end of the year, including many to be announced at the annual Intel Capital Global Summit, taking place in San Diego Nov. 2-4. Sodhani and incoming Intel Capital President Wendell Brooks will join executives from GE, Cisco, Cloudera and many more to speak at this year’s event.
