Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: CVGI) today announced that its board of directors elected Roger Fix and Harold Bevis as independent directors, effective immediately.
Mr. Fix (60) currently serves as the non-executive chairman of the board of directors of Standex International Corporation. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Standex from 2003 to 2014. He was Standex’sPresident and Chief Operating Officer from 2001 to 2003. Mr. Fix has served as a director of Flowserve Corporationsince 2006 and serves as the Chairman of the Corporate Nominating and Governance Committee and a member of the Audit Committee. Mr. Fix earned a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Texasand a bachelor-of-science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Nebraska.
Mr. Bevis (54) has served as a director and as President and Chief Executive Officer of Xerium Technologies, Inc.since August 2012. He most recently served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Prolamina Corporationfrom August 2010 to April 2012. Prior to that from October 2003 to December 2009 he served as Chief Executive Officer, President and director of Pliant Corporation. Mr. Bevis earned an MBA in business from Columbia University and a bachelor-of-science degree in industrial engineering from Iowa State University.
