Effective August 1, 2015, Webasto SE is reorganizing its Management Board. This was announced by the company following the meeting of the Supervisory Board of Webasto SE. Matthias Arleth (48) and Jürgen Reimer (45) are strengthening the management board of the company. Dr. Holger Engelmann, who in addition to his position as Chairman of the Management Board Webasto SE is also Chairman of the Management Board of the roof systems division is very pleased with the two new board members: “With Matthias Arleth and Jürgen Reimer we gain two proven experts for the board of our Group. Both know the company well and in their work in various board positions, they have been very successful in the interests of Webasto.”
Matthias Arleth enhances the Board with his expertise in the roof business, the division with the highest sales in the Group. Since 2011 he has been responsible for the European sunroof business and in 2013 he was appointed to the management board of the division. In that position, he is the deputy to Dr. Holger Engelmann and in charge of North American and European business as well as for Research & Development. “I am looking forward to having Matthias Arleth strengthen the Management Board of the Webasto Group with his expertise and experience in the international automotive supplier business”, said Werner Baier, Chairman of the Supervisory Board Webasto SE.
Jürgen Reimer is now in charge of Finance and IT as a member of the Management Board of the Webasto Group. He has been with the company since 2008, initially as Member of the Management Board for Finance of the roof systems division and since 2013 additionally as the CFO of the Webasto Group. “I am very happy that we were able to gain Jürgen Reimer to assume the Board position. Based on activities in his previous positions, he can draw on extensive experience on division and group level of the company”, Werner Baier explains.
