Biranchi Mohapatra, Managing Director, Plastic Omnium Auto Exteriors has been confirmed as a speaker for Fuel Economy Pune.
Mr. Biranchi Mohapatra is the Managing Director of Plastic Omnium Auto Exteriors India and has overall responsibility for the company’s operations.
Biranchi commenced his career with Ashok Leyland as a Senior Executive in Service. He moved to SRF as Regional Manager in 1996 and subsequently joined Parekh Platinum as Business Head.
After a brief stint with Parekh Platinum, he moved back to the automotive industry as General Manager Business for the Varroc Group. During his stint at Varroc he was instrumental in setting up the current company Plastic Omnium India as a JV with Varroc.
In year 2008, he moved on as Senior Vice President & Business Head for Continental Engines, before finally taking over as Managing Director of Plastic Omnium Auto Exterior India.
He is the recipient of the award for “Excellence In Leadership” by the Governor of Maharashtra Mr. K Sankarnarayanan in the year 2013 for his extraordinary work in the industry.
