Baojun has launched the newest member of its RS-3 small sporty SUV family powered by a new 1.5L turbocharged engine. Three RS-3 1.5T variants are available for between RMB 87,800 and RMB 98,800.
The RS-3 1.5T retains Baojun’s interstellar geometry design language. Its fashionable exterior has a large front grille, sporty front bumper and split-type LED headlights, along with larger 17-inch two-color alloy wheels. Inside is a 360-degree wraparound cabin with an optional new all-black interior.
The RS-3 1.5T’s engine has added power. It is matched with a smooth-shifting eight-speed continuously variable transmission (CVT), generating 250 Nm of maximum torque. Optimized chassis tuning boosts fuel economy.
The SUV has a segment-leading driver assistance system. Its advanced adaptive cruise control (ACC) system can be activated at a speed of up to 150 kilometers per hour, reducing driver fatigue while improving safety and comfort.
Users will also enjoy the RC-3 1.5T’s intelligent connectivity system, which enables them to bring their personal lives inside the vehicle. In addition, the RC-3 1.5T comes with wireless charging for mobile phones, automatic air conditioning that can be activated remotely, an automatic folding rearview mirror with the memory function, anti-pinching windows with one-button lift for all four windows, and a six-way adjustable driver’s seat.
