RFS demands 100 million gallon annual increase of biodiesel

Will the lack of available feedstock be detrimental to the new RFS proposals?

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently released a proposal for the 2014-2017 Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS). According to a paper by Stephanie Searle, Senior Researcher at the International Council for Clean Transportation, the bid could see increased uptake of biomass-based diesel (BBD). However, a lack of available feedstock could affect the positive impact.
