Rear-end collisions could be reduced by 90%, says Toyota

Advanced driver assistance systems can help prevent a huge number of rear-end collisions, writes Michael Nash

Toyota recently announced that it is planning to expand adoption of safety support technologies in the hope of lowering the number of collisions on today’s roads. In addition, it has also revealed plans to increase education programmes for drivers, pedestrians and other road users on safety.
