Subaru XV Crosstrek production may stay in Japan

While Subaru's US strategy has always called for local production, there is talk that the OEM is scrapping plans to produce the XV Crosstrek in the country

At the end of November 2014, Subaru of America broke its all-time annual sales record, selling 463,770 vehicles in the US. This figure was 20.6% higher than the previous full-year record, of 424,683 vehicles set in 2013. What is significant is that the OEM has managed to cross this record level with one month left in the year.
