General Motors' European unit, Adam Opel, has finally reached a severance agreement with workers at its facility in Bochum, Germany, represented by IG Metall. The plant is scheduled to end production operations at the end of this year. Negotiations on a severance package have been on since workers at the Bochum plant turned down a proposed labour agreement in March last year.
