Nissan takes hit from Asian weakness, but not for long

Challenges at home in Japan and in certain emerging markets dampened Nissan's fiscal 2014 results, though strength in North America limited the damage. For the 12 months ending 31 March 2015, net income rose 17.6% to ¥457.6bn (US$3.8bn), with net revenues of ¥11.38tr and operating profit of ¥589.6bn, for an operating profit margin of 5.2%.
