Mitsubishi completes withdrawal from Chinese production

Once a formidable presence in China, Mitsubishi no longer produces either vehicles or components in the country. By Stewart Burnett

Mitsubishi Motors has completed its withdrawal from China's automotive manufacturing sector by terminating its engine joint venture, Shenyang Aerospace Mitsubishi Motors Engine Manufacturing. The development follows its exit from vehicle production through GAC-Mitsubishi in October 2023.
