Jaguar caused a sensation with the launch of its F-Type Coupé in Los Angeles with a spectacular unveiling, but its roots go back to the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show where it was first shown as the C-X16 concept.
According to Al Whelan, head of sports car design at Jaguar, “It was the most reviewed car at that show and it won car of the show which was a great honour and completely unexpected. It proved to me that the world has a great passion for Jaguar.
