In the short-term, the 2014 US greenhouse gas and fuel efficiency rule will see tractor manufacturers making the best use of the hardware they have available today. Longer term, developments will need to be made in aerodynamics, engine efficiency and rolling resistance, but this takes more time to bring to market, says Navistar’s Greg Fadler, in aninterview with AutomotiveWorld.com.
