The Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA) held its Heavy Duty Dialog Conference in Nashville recently. With a backdrop of a steep ramp up in Class 8 orders over the past three months, combined with growing confidence on the part of the trucking fleets that GDP positive rate increases are now attainable, the event produced some interesting takeaways.
