An air of change surrounds India’s diesels

2016 could be a year of firsts for the diesel segment in India

India’s capital New Delhi is the world’s most polluted city, according to 2014 data from the World Health Organisation (WHO). In fact, research by the WHO suggests that the air in Delhi is almost twice as toxic as the air in Beijing, resulting in around 1.3 million deaths every year. With smog building up, the government is under pressure to act, and a raft of new legislation could have a significant impact.
