US: Scuderi engine achieves 65mpg in lab

Scuderi Group has released findings from a computer simulation study showing that a turbocharged/air-hybridised Scuderi Engine can achieve at least 65mpg with CO2 emissions of 85g/km. The company compared those figures with the average fuel consumption of typical, comparable vehicles put at 52mpg with average CO2 emissions of 104g/km.
