Nissan announces management appointment

Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. today announced the following senior management appointment: Effective Feb. 1, Masashi Matsuyama, formerly program director, has been appointed to the position of vice president for the newly established Operational Strategic Office, which leads efforts to address the company’s key priorities, including the acceleration of electrification. He will report to Ashwani Gupta, representative executive officer, chief operating officer.
