Earlier in the year, CLEPA, the European Automotive Suppliers Association, suggested that the outlook for growth in 2016 would be difficult to predict. For the European supply base, Chief Executive Paul Schockmel – who recently announced his resignation – advised that suppliers were approaching growth cautiously.
Every other month, the Michigan-based Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA), which represents US-based automotive suppliers, surveys its members on major issues and concerns in the marketplace.
Automotive World spoke to Julie Fream, Chief Executive of OESA, regarding the findings of the latest supplier barometer for June 2016 in more detail.
