Höegh Autoliners aim to expand their cooperation with Wallem Ship Management, which already manage nine Höegh vessels, and the parties are in dialogue to establish a joint venture company in Singapore that will handle technical management of all Höegh Autoliners’ owned vessels.

The majority of the owned vessels operated by Höegh Autoliners are today technically managed by Höegh Fleet Services AS. Crewing services are handled from separate Höegh crewing offices in China and the Philippines. The crewing services from these Höegh offices will continue unchanged.

“A total of 23 staff, of which 18 are based in Norway, will be affected as a result of the move. We will start a dialogue with each individual employee to discuss potential new job opportunities in Höegh”, says Sebjørn Dahl, CEO of Höegh Fleet Services AS.

The transfer of the vessels from Höegh Fleet Services will be completed by the end of June 2015.
