Faurecia University inaugurated a brand new facility in late January 2016 housing its European campus.
After rolling out the University in Asia in 2013 and in North America in 2014, Faurecia has now acquired a brand new campus to Europe with a 350sqm site dedicated to training Faurecia employees.
The deployment of Faurecia University over the past two years is in fact an example of how employee development is a cornerstone of Faurecia’s culture.
The goals of the new campus include:
- Meeting the training needs of Group employees as a real business partner in areas spanning Faurecia’s business lines, culture and standards through a range of tailored programs;
- Developing new training courses to anticipate changes in the automotive industry and prepare employees to tackle future challenges in the business;
- Becoming a recognized training body that is competitive in the market, initially targeting Group suppliers.
To further develop its offer & help employees meet the company’s challenges, Faurecia University will focus on developing managers via Leadership Development programs, an online training platform as well as the creation of Faurecia Alumni, a community of Faurecia employees who have benefited from in-house training.
In 2015 alone, Faurecia University trained more than 8,000 employees trained, including 3,000 in North America and 3,000 in Asia.
