Automotive manufacturing growth continues in the Central Eastern European region. Yangfeng Automotive Interiors has announced it will build a new facility in Plana nad Luznici, Czech Republic. The new plant, scheduled to begin operation in 2018, will manufacture interior components including instrument and door panels for future models. Meanwhile, a recent report from BMI Research suggests that Mercedes-Benz is considering a site in Poland for its next manufacturing facility, as it looks to localise production through Europe.
