Among the host of free trade agreements (FTAs) being negotiated globally, the trade ministries of Australia and South Korea concluded negotiations on an Australia-Korea Free Trade Agreement (KAFTA) in early December 2013. The legally verified agreement was eventually released to the public in February this year. The government of Australia believes that this FTA will result in a positive outcome for the country. Now, the Australian government has said that the two countries are poised to formally sign the final agreement in Seoul.
