FCA US and the UAW have announced a tentative agreement on a new labour deal, just a couple days past the original 14 September deadline. Details remain tightly guarded as ratification votes are awaited, and neither UAW President Dennis Williams nor FCA Chief Executive Sergio Marchionne were giving anything away at the press conference held on the evening of 16 September. What they were keen to discuss was the evolution of the union-OEM relationship.
