Campaigning vs governing: Trump follow through could reshape landscape

There's a new sheriff in town, or soon will be, as the US votes in Donald Trump as the 45th President. Among Trump's many numerous campaign pledges were promises to renegotiate - or terminate - the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), tax cars imported from Mexico and walk away from the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) and the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). A follow through on any of these areas could reshape the US automotive industry. However, there's a big gulf between what's promised on the campaign trail and what's carried out in office.
