Several media reports from 26 June 2025 indicated that Tesla’s head of manufacturing and operations, Omead Afshar, has either left the company (Bloomberg) or been fired by Elon Musk (Forbes). Both sources cited anonymous Tesla employees, with CNBC later claiming it had confirmed the latter story.
