GAZelle NN has won the Best Up-and-Comer Award at the Best Russia’s Commercial Vehicle Competition. This is a recognition given by automotive industry experts to the most anticipated product in the LCV market.
Industry media experts with the focus on road and commercial vehicles are members of the jury panel. The main criteria is a contribution into better efficiency and performance of cargo and passenger transportation.
The winners were announced in Moscow, and then Alexander Solntsev, the jury president, brought the trophy and gave to the GAZ team in Nizhny Novgorod at the SOP ceremony. Serial production for GAZelle NN started last May in Russia. GAZelle NN is more than just a new LCV model, it is going to be a founding father for a new generation of GAZ vehicles. It is a platform for further development to be, for many years, the base for new models and versions of GAZ commercial vehicles.

GAZelle NN is a product made by a big team of Gorky Automobile Plant, including strategy experts, engineers, design and process engineers, and workers. For us it is a big milestone, indeed: not just a new generation, but a platform for future development of all GAZ vehicles in the upcoming years. It lays down the future for GAZ. We are happy that our project has been given high accolades by the professional industry community.

This is a good European-class product, a new member into the great family of GAZelle, a legendary product for GAZ and for the whole country as it saved the national economy during the economic crisis back in the 1990s.
