Dan Wohletz, Vice President, Automotive North America, Henkel has been confirmed as a speaker in the Vehicle Lightweighting stream at Automotive Megatrends USA 2015, which takes place on 17 March 2015.
As Vice President, key accounts North America, Dan Wohletz is responsible for overall sales growth, strategic planning and profitability of the company’s North American OEM and Tier 1 auto supplier accounts.
Wohletz joined Henkel as an application engineer in 1991 and over the past 22 years has held various positions of increasing responsibility, including sales, marketing, business management, global strategic planning and new business development.
Prior to his current role, Wohletz served as Vice President global marketing in Duesseldorf, Germany, where he was responsible for developing and directing a global marketing strategy and five-year business plan for the global transportation business unit.
With tougher CAFE standards just around the corner, automotive lightweighting has never been so important, or so innovative. The Vehicle Lightweighting stream at Automotive Megatrends USA 2015 will explore the best and most efficient ways to reduce vehicle weight in mainstream light vehicles. Wohletz will present on the ‘Role of adhesives in reducing vehicle mass and increasing sustainability.’
