Vehicle safety ‘entering a new era’ says Renault

In 2009, Renault created an internal network of experts to focus on 50 distinct fields of research, including vehicle safety. Jacques Faure, Passive Safety Expert at Renault is in charge of various design and engineering departments, and works with the Laboratoire d'Accidentologie in Nanterre, France, together with PSA to progress safety standards.

Automotive World spoke to Faure to understand Renault’s approach to active and passive systems, and how vehicle safety is entering a new era.
