Ford’s European revamp to push profitable to thriving

First Japan and Indonesia were cut. Now Europe is slashing jobs and dropping models, writes Megan Lampinen

Ford has made good progress in pulling its European operations out of the deep hole they were in, but it's not enough. Aiming not just for profitable but thriving, the OEM has outlined a restructuring plan for the region that calls for job cuts and a change in model strategy.
