Alcantara produces a high-quality composite material – that goes by the same name – which is used in automotive interiors, particularly in luxury and premium seating. The company's headquarters and manufacturing are based in Italy, and its OEM customers include Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maserati on a global scale, as well as the German trio of BMW, Audi and Mercedes-Benz.
Automotive World spoke to Alcantara’s Chief Executive Officer Andrea Boragno on the supplier’s outlook for 2015.
