PSA paid tribute to the strategic importance of suppliers like Faurecia at its 11th annual best supplier awards on 16 June.
FECT was nominated for its performance in program management, in particular for its quality, on-time delivery, project and cost management, successful launches and technical expertise.
Linda Jackson, CEO of the Citroen Brand, also extended a special thanks to suppliers of the Citroen C4-Cactus that has won more than 30 awards including ‘World Car Design of the Year’ in April. All four Faurecia BGs have contributed to the C4 Cactus with important design, comfort, weight-saving and emissions-reducing components from seats, bumpers, carpets to exhaust lines.
Five Faurecia sites – Porrino (FIS), Orense (FIS), Audincourt (FAE), Sielest (FAS), Meru (FIS) – were also presented with a ‘best plant’ award – this year given to 74 production facilities representing around 5% of PSA’s panel of suppliers.
