Rho Motion: global EV sales hit 1.3m in January, up 18% YoY

EV research house Rho Motion revealed on 12 February 2025 that the number of electric vehicles (EVs) sold globally in January was 1.3 million. While this represents a roughly one-third decline from the record-breaking volumes in December—in-keeping with tradition—it also showed that the global market has grown by 18% year-over-year (YoY).
