Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has released a new suite of offers on mobility models to celebrate 40 years since the very-first Motability vehicles were delivered to customers.
Over the last four decades, the pioneering mobility provider, which serves disabled people, their families and their carers, has helped 4.5 million people.
To enable even more people living with disabilities to access affordable, worry-free leasing, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is offering competitive APs on the Caddy Life, Caddy Maxi Life and Transporter Shuttle. The Volkswagen Caddy Life is available from £365 Advanced Payment, raising to £642 for the Maxi Life. The Volkswagen Transporter Shuttle is available with an Advanced Payment of as little as £740.
The Caddy Life and Maxi Life can both be converted into a wheelchair accessible vehicle while the Transporter Shuttle can seat up to eight passengers.
Recipients of the higher rate mobility component of the Disability Living Allowance or Personal Independence Payment are eligible for a Motability vehicle along with those receiving the War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement and the Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP).
The Motability Scheme provides an affordable, worry-free way for people with disabilities and their families to lease a car, scooter or powered wheelchair in exchange for their mobility allowance. Motability, which delivered its first vehicles in 1978, arranges the insurance, breakdown assistance, servicing and maintenance, with everything included in the price of the weekly allowance.
