In this year’s reader survey conducted by magazines “trans aktuell,” “lastauto omnibus” and “FERNFAHRER,” the majority of the 7,600 participants voted Webasto’s parking heaters and air conditioners as the “Best Brand”. The world market leader has now taken first place for the 16th time. “For the first time this year, the ‘Climatization’ category was separated into ‘Parking Heaters’ and ‘Parking Coolers’, so we are even prouder to score so well in both,” says Heike Niehues, Head of the Consumer and Commercial Customer Business Unit. Over 50 percent of readers voted for Webasto in each category. Three other manufacturers participated in the parking heater category, while as many as six others entered the parking cooler category.
“Truck drivers are often on the road throughout the whole of Europe for days at a time,” explains Niehues. “It is important to us that they are able to rely particularly on comfortable temperatures in their cabs, in which they work, eat and sleep”.
