Promote reform of digital processes (CAD, CAE, CAM) in order to enhance integrity of powertrains and reduce development time. Restructure Toyota Technical Development Corporation and establish the Unit Development Digital Innovation Division in order to accelerate the creation of a unified development base (including engines, drivetrains, hybrids and production engineering).
After the above changes are implemented, the number of divisions will increase to 229 from the current 227.
