On Thanksgiving Day which fell on November 24, 2016, Chery Socma Argentina S.A., Chery’s distributor in Argentina, held the Tiggo 5 Launch Conference. Alejandro Nicolini, General Manager of Chery Socma Argentina S.A.; over 50 representatives of Chery’s dealers and over 100 journalists attended the conference and witnessed the grand occasion. This was another key model launched in Argentina after the launch of Tiggo 3 in Argentina this May. Tiggo 5 will form a competitor mix with Tiggo 3, QQ and Fulwin series. Under the condition that Chery’s product lines are becoming increasingly rich, Chery will enhance its image as a high-end and energetic brand in Argentina.

On the scene of the launch conference, trendy and dynamic Tiggo 5 appeared mysterious in the light and was charming as an off-road SUV. The Product Manager of Chery Socma Argentina introduced the design team, features and parameters of Tiggo 5 in detail. Tiggo 5 was unanimously praised by the media and visitors for its trendy appearance, rich and practical configuration, as well as its superb sense of technology and quality.

Chery’s first SUV was born and named Tiggo in 2005, opening up an era for Chinese SUV brands. Over the past decade, Tiggo has achieved brilliant results, and been exported to over 80 countries and regions with cumulative sales of over one million units. Currently Tiggo 3 holds a share of over 50 percent in Argentina. As a flagship SUV of Chery, Tiggo 5 will overwhelm the Argentinean market with Tiggo 3, to further expand Chery’s share in Argentina’s SUV segment.

The Business Director of Chery Socma Argentina made a summary of Chery’s market performance from January to October 2016 to the general managers and sales managers of dealers present by modules such as sales, after sales and market, with emphasis on Chery’s future marketing plan for Tiggo and Arrizo series. Dealers said that the quality and reputation of Chery’s new-generation products made them confident of Chery’s future development.

Amid the overall economic slowdown of Argentina, Chery will constantly improve its product quality and operation level as a flag of China’s manufacturing in Argentina, to create a high-quality driving life for Argentinean consumers.
