CEVA Logistics, one of the world’s leading supply chain management companies, received the Sustainable Excellence for People award for being, once again, among the top five companies in the Best Employer research conducted in Turkey by Aon Hewitt.

The survey was based on the qualitative assessment of 40 companies, carried out by collecting and analyzing the opinions of over 28,000 employees who expressed their feeling and thoughts about the places they work. Thanks to the positive working environment created among CEVA’s 5,500 Turkish employees, CEVA received the Sustainable Excellence for People award. The award was based on criteria such as people’s motivation, the ability to engage with employees so they feel a valued part of the organization, senior managers’ leadership and promotion activities and providing an attractive personalized career path for every employee.

Nihat Çukurkaya, Vice President for People Strategy and Processes, Global Human Resources for CEVA, who received the award, stated: “We are proud to be among the top five companies in the ‘Best Employer’ ranking for the fourth year in a row and to receive the Sustainable Excellence for People award. This recognition represents a real honor for our Human Resources department and proves CEVA’s strong commitment to valuing our most important resource: our employees. Since 2006, CEVA in Turkey has focused on delivering a robust training program to successfully develop talent within the business and we keep on improving our HR programs in order to increase the quality of our investment in people’s development.”

The Best Employer study, now in its fifth year, is a study that examines people management practices in leading international and national organizations. It provides insights into how organizations can achieve a real competitive advantage through their people and explores what makes an organization a good place to work.

The Best Employer research identified key factors which influence employee satisfaction and loyalty: career opportunities; wages; being valued; appreciation and the relationship with senior management were identified as the most important. This award is testament to how these principles have been fully integrated into the company, creating a positive environment in which the satisfaction of CEVA’s employees is reflected in their activities which results in best in class service and high value customer focus.
