Shamprasad Ponkshe, Executive Vice President (R&D), AMW Motors Ltd, has been confirmed as a speaker in the road freight efficiency track at Automotive Megatrends India 2015.
Ponkshe leads product engineering and development across all vehicle platforms including Tipper, Transit Mixture, Tractor, Haulage and Buses for all markets. His team is currently working on the launch of the “New Generation Truck” as well as diversification of the AMW vehicle portfolio.
Prior to joining AMW, he worked as Vice President (Engineering) at Mahindra Navistar Automotive Ltd, where he was instrumental in development of new truck ranges. Over the past 35 years he has worked in various capacities with organisations like Tata Motors Ltd, Texmaco-Indonesia and Kinetic Motor Company Ltd.
Automotive Megatrends India is a two-day, multiple-track conference focusing on commercial vehicles and passenger cars. The panel discussion on day one will cover the key megatrends which look set to shape the country’s commercial vehicle industry over the next ten years and beyond.
