Serkan Arslan, Global Director of Business Development for Automotive, Luxoft

Serkan has over 15 years of extensive international experience in automotive domains such as In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) systems, connectivity, and telematics. Previously, Serkan held top management positions at leading automotive companies such as Daimler and Delphi. He also has vast business experience in developing new markets for OEMs, Tier-I’s and Mobility Service Providers.

At Luxoft, Serkan is the Managing Director of Luxoft Germany and the Global Director of Automotive Business Development. Over the last few years, Serkan facilitated the expansion of Luxoft’s engineering service offering by including products and IP. He was instrumental in strengthening Luxoft’s position in such areas as IVI, HMI, digital cluster design, connectivity, telematics and ADAS. Serkan secured partnerships with key automotive OEMs and Tier-I suppliers, and oversaw the growth of Luxoft competence center in Stuttgart, Germany, as well as the opening of a new strategic location in Detroit, MI.

“The connected car is quickly becoming a reality, opening up a new world of possibilities,” said Serkan, Luxoft’s Global Director of Automotive Business Development. “But for drivers to fully reap the benefits of it, the cars must have safe, attractive and user-friendly human-machine interface (HMI). Luxoft is leading the development of advanced automotive HMIs that incorporate smartphones and apps in a safe and efficient way. We help automakers develop the next generation HMIs featuring digital instrument clusters and head-up displays. It’s exciting to be a part of the leading industry expert group discussing this important subject at the Automotive Megatrends 2014 conference in the heart of Europe. I look forward to hearing my peers and sharing Luxoft’s experience.”

Organised by Automotive World, Megatrends Europe 2014 is a two-day, six-stream conference focusing on Commercial Vehicles and Passenger Cars. Serkan is confirmed to speak on day 2 in Session 2: Connected Car. To register for this event, please go to http://megatrendseurope.automotiveworld.com/register/
