SAE International will formally introduce its new MyLibrary mobile application during the SAE 2013 World Congress, which will be held April 16-18 at Cobo Center in Detroit. Demonstrations will be available during exhibit hours, at the SAE International Technology Center located by the Registration area at the Conference Center.
The new app, now available from the Apple iTunes store, lets SAE International customers access individually purchased technical papers, standards and eBooks directly from their iPads. Upon login, the app interfaces with each customer’s MyLibrary account on the SAE International website, where their document purchases are automatically stored. This gives users additional control over when and how they view SAE’s industry-leading technical information.
The app’s simple interface allows easy browsing of purchased documents by type, and immediate viewing using a PDF reader of choice.
“This new mobile app offers a new option for SAE International customers,” Michael Thompson, Manager of Electronic Publishing, SAE International, said. “It’s designed for today’s busy professionals – giving them a new way to efficiently access timely and relevant information.”
