Robert Evans, CEO, CENEX, has been confirmed as a moderator in the Powertrain Stream at Automotive Megatrends Europe ’13 which takes place on 13 November 2013.
Robert is CEO of Cenex, the UK’s first Centre of Excellence for Low Carbon and Fuel Cell Technologies. Cenex has a strategic focus on low carbon vehicles, as well as electric, hydrogen and gas recharging/refuelling infrastructure. Operating as a not-for-profit, Cenex undertakes consultancy, research and project management for public and private sector clients, as well as running the UK’s largest low carbon vehicle technology showcasing and networking event (www.cenex-lcv.co.uk).
Prior to joining Cenex in 2005 Robert held business development, public affairs, and marketing roles with Johnson Matthey, with a focus on developing international markets for environmental and automotive technologies, including fuel cells and vehicle emissions control.
Robert represents Cenex on the UK’s Automotive Council Technology Group, as well as the governance groups of the UK Government’s Technology Strategy Board low carbon vehicle programme for Research, Development and Demonstration.
Robert holds Masters qualifications from Imperial College London and Leeds University.
