MOBIS recruits the “10th MOBIS Reporter” to be MIBS communicator both online and offline over the next year, 2013.

MOBIS Reporter is a group of university student reporters, first organized in 2004 by MOBIS to expand communication with members of the society and help the university students develop their creativity and better understand the rapidly changing automobile industry.

These student reporters will investigate and cover automobile and MOBIS related issues and share news with the public through social media and press. They will also get to experience what it’s like in the automobile industry for themselves over the course of one year. In other words, they are like communication messengers who act as a bridge between MOBIS and the public.

The 10th Reporters who will go into action in January next year, when they will participate in various projects including a tour through the automobile plant, three workshops with MOBIS, news writing, UCC producing and accordingly, gain better understanding of the overall automobile industry.

The reporters will be provided with a nominal cost for PR exercise and a scholarship and will also be granted to show the benefits when applying to the company. In addition, those who are selected as the best reporters will have a chance to accompany “Happy Move”, Hyundai Motor Group’s global youth volunteer corps dispatched all over the world.

MOBIS is accepting applications via MCARFE (www.mcarfe.co.kr) through December 10 and plans to select 15 members to be the 10th MOBIS reporter by examining the documents submitted and interviewing applicants. Meanwhile, the 9th reporters invited their seniors and held “Homecoming Day” event on November 17, at Yeoksamdong, where MOBIS head office is located. Former reporters shared the result of activities promoted by the 9th reporters, consulted about the career and held a charity bazaar for the poor.
