Rakesh Batra, Partner and Sector Leader Automotive, EY has been confirmed as a moderator in the Connected Car track at Automotive Megatrends India 2015.

Batra is based in Delhi and has extensive experience of over 30 years in both corporate and consulting roles, working with Indian and multinational clients. He is the firm’s Automotive Sector Leader in India and the Automotive Advisory Leader for Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa. He has presented papers and participated in panel discussions at various conferences.

Batra holds a Masters in Business and Technology from the University of New South Wales, Masters in Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and a Bachelor of Technology (Honours) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He brings significant management experience in India, the US and Australia in the Automotive, Industrial Equipment and Manufacturing industries with deep strategy, supply chain, procurement, operations, and outsourcing expertise.

Automotive Megatrends India is a two-day, multiple-track conference focusing on commercial vehicles and passenger cars. The Connected Car track on day two will cover the key technologies and trends that will have the most impact on the evolution of the connected car in India.
