PEUGEOT has been awarded the ‘Best Small Van’ and ‘Best Electrified Van’ titles at the 2021 Parkers New Car Awards. The PEUGEOT Partner picked up the ‘Best Small Van’ prize thanks to its extensive list of safety technologies and low running costs, while the new PEUGEOT e-Expert won the ‘Best Electrified Van’ category, with judges impressed by its EV range and payload.

The PEUGEOT Partner and new PEUGEOT e-Expert were winners of the ‘Best Small Van’ and ‘Best Electrified Van’ awards respectively at the fourth annual Parkers New Car Awards.

The ‘Best Small Van’ trophy was presented to the brand for the second year in a row, thanks to the PEUGEOT Partner’s excellent fuel efficiency and impressive list of driving assistance technologies. PEUGEOT Partner, which was launched in 2019, has already acquired a number of award wins including ‘Small Van of the Year 2020’ at the Company Car and Van Awards and ‘Light Van of the Year 2020’ from What Van?.

Vans and Pickups Editor for Parkers.co.uk, CJ Hubbard, said: “The PEUGEOT Partner belies its small size to offer hefty payload ratings, which it combines with low running costs, a comfortable driving experience and lots of available technology to deliver an all-round Parkers Awards-winning experience.”

Keith Adams, Editor for Parkers.co.uk, added: “The Partner is a worthy winner – stylish, capable and ahead of the game. It’s the best small van money can buy.”

Parkers is a key resource for buying advice in the UK. The fourth annual awards celebrates the best vehicles across a number of important sectors. This year, Parkers added the new ‘Best Electrified Van’ category to recognise the rising importance of electrification in the LCV market.

The full electric new PEUGEOT e-Expert, which was unveiled in May 2020, has been named ‘Best Electrified Van’ because of its versatility, large load volume and on-board technology – all available with a zero emissions powertrain.

CJ Hubbard said: “Never before has there been a medium-sized electric van able to carry so much payload or travel so far per charge – PEUGEOT e-Expert customers should be confident that this van can do what they need it to do. The pricing and towing capability is impressive, too.”

David Peel, Managing Director of PEUGEOT UK, said: “It’s such an honour to receive not one, but two awards for vehicles in our LCV range at the Parkers New Car Awards. The PEUGEOT Partner continues to stand out in a highly-competitive market while the addition of our full-electric new PEUGEOT e-Expert continues both our ‘Power of Choice’ philosophy and our drive to offer an electrified variant throughout our entire model
