-To be Launched in India in February 2013-
Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., today announced that the company will conduct the Nissan Safety Driving Forum in emerging markets as part of its safety driving promotion activities. The program will be launched in three main cities of India (New Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai) starting February 2013, and will also be expanded to other markets in the future, including Brazil.
Through the program, Nissan will work to build awareness of safe driving in the communities. In India, the Nissan Safety Driving Forum will encourage drivers and passengers to wear seatbelts, and participants can learn through interactive activities why it is important to wear seatbelts.
Nissan seeks to support reducing fatalities and injuries caused by traffic accidents, and Nissan Safety Driving Forum represents the company’s commitment in also contributing to the new, growing mobility society.
