Nissan is making a number of changes to its senior management team in North America as the company prepares to enter the second year of its M.O.V.E. to 2022 midterm plan. The mission of the six-year midterm plan is to achieve sustainable growth and to lead the technology and business evolution of the automotive industry.

All changes are effective April 1, 2018, unless otherwise noted.

Marketing & Sales

Judy Wheeler, division vice president, Sales Operations and North/West Regions, is appointed division vice president, U.S. and Canada Dealer Network Strategy. In this role, Wheeler will assume responsibility for all Dealer Network Development (DND) operations in the U.S. and Canada for both Nissan and INFINITI brands. She will report to Denis Le Vot, chairman, Nissan North America, for overall regional strategy and to Dan Mohnke, senior vice president, Sales & Marketing and Operations, Nissan Division U.S., for all U.S.-related DND operations.

Billy Hayes, division vice president, Trucks, Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV) and South/Mountain Regions, is named division vice president, Nissan Regional Operations. Hayes will assume responsibility for operations of all U.S. regions for the Nissan Division, reporting to Mohnke. 

Claudia Marquez, senior director, Sales Operations, INFINITI USA, is promoted to vice president, Sales and Vehicle Operations, Nissan Division U.S. Marquez will have responsibility for Sales Operations, Vehicle Operations, Distribution, Fleet and Certified Pre-Owned Strategy & Sales. She will report to Mohnke.

David Kershaw, currently vice president, DND, is named vice president, Nissan Northeast Region. He will report to Hayes.

Fred DePerez, division general manager, Global LCV Marketing and Sales, Nissan Motor Company, Ltd. (NML), is named vice president, North America LCV Business Unit. He will report globally to Ashwani Gupta, senior vice president, Renault-Nissan LCV Business Unit, and regionally to Mohnke.

Randy Parker, vice president, INFINITI Americas, is named division general manager, Global LCV Marketing and Sales, Nissan Motor Company, Ltd. (NML). He will report to Gupta.

 

INFINITI Americas 

Michael Colleran, vice president, Nissan Northeast Region, is named vice president, INFINITI Americas. Colleran will report to Christian Meunier, global division vice president, INFINITI Motor Company, Ltd.

Jeff Pope, senior director, INFINITI Global Sales Operations, is named senior director, Sales Operations, INFINITI USA. Pope will report to Colleran.

 

Monozukuri

Rob Pitt, senior director, Production Purchasing, Renault-Nissan Purchasing Organization (RNPO) North America, is promoted to vice president, Purchasing, RNPO North America. Pitt will report globally to Shohei Yamazaki, corporate vice president, Nissan Purchasing Head and Alliance global vice president, Purchasing, and regionally to Heath Holtz, senior vice president, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management and Purchasing, North America.

Ricky Mitchell, director, Purchasing, Interior, Exterior and Aftersales is promoted to senior director, Production Purchasing, RNPO. Mitchell will report to Pitt.

Steve Jernigan, director, Non-Product and Services Support, is named director, Purchasing, Interior, Exterior and Aftersales. Jernigan will report to Mitchell.

Larry Pavey, director, Purchasing, Stamping, Chassis and Raw Material, is named director, Non-Product and Services Support. Pavey will report to Gary Zoller, senior director, Vehicle Purchasing.

Gergely Baranyi, supplier account officer, Raw Material Purchasing, is named director, Purchasing, Stamping, Chassis and Raw Material. Baranyi report to Mitchell.

Anatoly Duginov, senior manager, Purchasing, is promoted to director, Purchasing Body & Electrical. Duginov will report to Mitchell.

Rick Youngblood, director, Nissan Decherd Powertrain Plant, is named director, INFINITI Decherd Powertrain Plant. Youngblood will report to Brian Sullivan, vice president, Powertrain Operations & Battery.

Gerardo Leon, director, INFINITI Decherd Powertrain Plant, is named director, Nissan Decherd Powertrain Plant. Leon will report to Sullivan.

 

Research & Development

Masayuki Fukuda, vice president, R&D, Nissan Technical Center North America (NTCNA) Mexico, is named vice president, Vehicle Engineering, NTCNA. He will report to Takeshi Yamaguchi, senior vice president, R&D Americas.

Kiichi Namba, deputy general manager, Nissan Technical Center in Atsugi, Japan, is named vice president, R&D, NTCNA-Mexico. He will report to Yamaguchi.

Robert Flotkoetter, senior manager, Engineering R&D, is promoted to the newly created role of director, Technology Planning and Research. This new role will be instrumental in enhancing research into key technologies that will support achievement of the R&D function’s overall objectives now and in the future. Flotkoetter will report to Chris Reed, vice president, Component Engineering, NTCNA.

Tom Mally, director, Interior/Exterior Engineering, NTCNA-Mexico, is named to director, Vehicle Program Management, NTCNA-Mexico. He will report to Namba.

Takayoshi Harada, manager, R&D Interior Technology, NML, is named director, Interior/Exterior Engineering, NTCNA-Mexico. He will report to Namba.

Mario Zamora, subdirector, Quality/REG, NTCNA-Mexico, is promoted to director, Vehicle Evaluation & System Test/Quality Engineering, NTCNA-Mexico. Zamora will report to Namba.

Fumihiko Imamura, deputy general Manager, R&D Powertrain System Technology, NML, is named director, Powertrain Engineering, NTCNA-Mexico. Imamura will report to Namba.

 

Sales Finance 

Effective March 2, Beth Osburn, director, Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp. (NMAC) Consumer Services was named director, NMAC Credit Services, replacing Brian Barrett, who elected to retire. She reports to Kevin Cullum, president, NMAC.

Effective May 1, Andre Medeiros, general manager, Treasury, Nissan Europe, is promoted to director, NMAC Consumer Services. He will report to Andres de la Parra, vice president, NMAC Operations.

Bill Alexander, director, Nissan Extended Services North America (NESNA), is named director, NMAC Operational Effectiveness. He will report to de la Parra.

Jack Crowley, director, NMAC Sales, is named director, NESNA. He will report to Jim DeTrude, vice president, NMAC Sales & Marketing.
