1. Domestic Production

Mazda’s total domestic production volume in January 2014 increased 9.1% compared to January 2013 due to increased production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

2. Overseas Production

Mazda’s overseas production volume in January 2014 was almost unchanged from January 2013, increasing only 0.01%. A decrease in commercial vehicle production was offset by an increase in passenger vehicles.

Mazda’s total domestic sales volume in January 2014 increased 23.5% compared to January 2013, due to increased sales of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

Mazda’s registered vehicle market share was 5.5% (unchanged year-on-year), with a 2.9% share of the micro-mini segment (down 0.4 points year-on-year) and a 4.4% total market share (down 0.2 points year-on-year).
