Since starting at Movimento Group, Mahbubul Alam, CTO & CMO, has reinvented the company and turned it into the top vendor in Over-The-Air (OTA) software updates for the automotive industry.
At Movimento, his charter was nothing less than helping to reinvent the automobile for the 21st century. In his first 20 months at Movimento, Alam built a strong software team from scratch, creating a platform that now completes three million OTA software vehicle updates a year. He also built a partner network for Movimento.
Prior to joining Movimento, Alam was a technologist and strategist at Cisco. He began in the mobile technology arena, later working in a variety of business development and market intelligence capacities at Cisco Netherlands. Having developed a solid name in the company for far-sighted, winning strategies, he was brought to Silicon Valley to head up Cisco’s Internet-of-Things (IoT) and Machine-to-Machine (M2M) platforms.
