Magna International Inc. announced today that it proudly serves as an official partner of this year’s Special Olympics World Winter Games, held March 14-25, 2017, in Graz, Ramsau and Schladming, Austria. In addition to being a partner, Magna is supporting the travel and accommodations for athletes representing the teams from Canada and Mexico, and providing backpacks for the more than 3,000 volunteers.

Over the course of the event, an estimated 2,700 athletes from 107 countries will compete in nine disciplines, including speed skating, stick shooting, floor hockey, snow shoeing and alpine skiing.
