Leadership change at Hagerty International Limited

Angus Forsyth has resigned his position as Managing Director of Hagerty UK to pursue other avenues

Angus Forsyth has resigned his position as Managing Director of Hagerty UK to pursue other avenues. His departure ends 14 years at the head of Hagerty’s UK operation, during which time he established the business into one of the UKs most recognisable insurance brands by truly understanding the real needs of the classic car driver.

Marcus Atkinson, formerly Marketing Director for Hagerty UK, now takes on the role of Managing Director with immediate effect.

Marcus Atkinson helped establish Hagerty in the UK since its inception in 2006. During that time, he has launched events such as the Festival of the Unexceptional, grew the valuation division of the company, devised clever and much-discussed advertising campaigns and has been the face of the brand at the countless events attended by Hagerty every year.

Speaking about his appointment as Managing Director, Marcus said ‘It has been a true delight to work alongside Angus for all these years, and he will be much missed. On behalf of all of the Hagerty UK team and we wish him well with his future ventures. As I step into the role of Managing Director, I look forward to writing the next chapter of Hagerty UK and making my own mark on, what is already, an incredible business.”

A new marketing team will be created by Marcus to take over his previous position.
